Abstract: Nursing is the only profession offering National Board Certification as both a nurse coach and holistic nurse, a new professional area.
Nurse coaching is an innovative strategy for interacting with patients to tap into a patient’s goals. A Nurse Coach is a registered nurse who integrates coaching competencies into any setting or specialty area to facilitate a process of change or development that assists individuals or groups in realizing their potential.
The purpose of the study is to describe the interest of Nurse Practitioners attending the Annual Conference in becoming nationally board-certified as a nurse coach and as a holistic nurse.
Again, if you will be at APHA we invite you to come meet and chat with Lyn McCright and Teresa Walding!
